I'll scoot you passed it - easy trick when you know how! :)
 
Depends on character.

Zero can 1 shot him with the right gear. Krieg can kill him by doing nothing. Axton can throw a ton of SMG's at him and finish him absurdly quick. Sal can GrogHarold anything. Maya & Gaige I don't know.

General tips though:

  • When you damage Hyperius he starts after you.
  • You can use singularity grenades to move and soften up the loaders first.
  • When you damage the bots enough they take Hyperius shield and protect themselves while they heal. Hit Hyperius then.
  • Hyperius loves to double fire Novas. Be sure to understand health gating and how to recover health in a hurry.
  • Get the right gear or suffer!

Just picked this up for my two boys so will be looking to start with them. I’ve played it through to the end game so will be looking to start a new character, something complimentary to their characters.
