Love the game, only thing I don't like is the lack of story. If it had something good like Fallout 3, then it would be awesome.

I've had a play around with the skill tree generators, and have decided on either:

Soldier: Healing/shotgun spec (I loved being a druid in my WoW days)
Sniper: Bloodwing/pistol spec

lack of story? the search for a hidden treasure...

Fallout 3 was an awful game in my opinion, slow, clunky and boring. Borderlands is superior imho.

Nothing like never having to buy ammo.

Support Soldier is great

I love how fast my character reloads weaponds when you hit 10 in it's proficiency.
Now if only my sniper rifles reloaded in less than a second

It's not always a bad thing. The very same cousin gave me my copy yesterday and although I've only played the SP for a couple hours, I liked it enough to have placed an order for it today.

After extensive reading of the Roland forum, I've decided on a Support Soldier build, a well placed healing turrent might be a better use of my points rather than cauterize, but I'm sure I'll chop n change as I level up

I shoot better with a keyboard and mouse I guess.

That's what i was thinking, i'm more of a mouse aimer, but never played 1st person shooters on console.
