Enjoyed it for the last season, do wonder with them knowing it was the final season this is why they brought Bosch back to 'main character' and put Maddy to the side.

Did not expect Jimmy to go out like he did.

Looking forward to Ballard now when that releases later this year.

Still think the series took a wrong turn when he became a PI. But I've not read the books.

They didn't know it was the last season when they were making it, the cancellation came much later and was as much a surprise to them as it was to the viewers

10 years of watching Bosch and it ends like that… ? So disappointing. The entire season was, in fact.

Legacy never recovered from the post-Maddie storyline of season 2. The stakes felt so low and lacking any kind of danger.

Cancelled then, shame as I quite enjoyed it. I saw Ballard was listed as a linked series with the woman from the last episode, is it any good?

Yeah, the last ep was pretty bad I thought. Harry's 'white whale' wrapped up in about 30 minutes... and yes, used to intro Ballard. I just watched S1 of Ballard and thought it was okay.

Ballards pretty good - certainly no worse than Legacy. Bosch pops up a few times as do several other Bosch characters so if you liked both those series then Ballard is more of the same to an extent.

It was cancelled out of the blue, even the show runner and Michael Connelly (EP) had no idea it was being pulled or the reason why.
