I dont know what im letting myself in for posting this here, but i'll do it anyway. I can take all comments in good spirit :)

Its a 1974 Carlight Caravan. Those that know caravans will know, that much like Morgan cars, these carlights are hand built, and VERY expensive to buy. Old ones like this, in good condition regularly go for £2k. One on ebay last week at £1,300, not sure if it sold or not.

They have character, and whilst caravaning isn't hardly any body's thing on here i imagine, I thought id post it up anyway.

This one cost me £400. So even if i have to spend £1,500 on getting it up to scratch, i know i can get the money back come resale time.

It needs a re-spray as the paintwork has seen better days. Inside its just cosmetics really. New carpet, curtains, recovered seats etc, but we'll see as time passes. There is a few damp looking areas, but they aren't actually damp, so i think the van just needs a good airing out, as it hasnt been used in a while.

The outside looks like it could use a new coat of paint, but the inside is very nice, I like the sofa/bed thingy :) The cupboards and kitchen also look nice, and are the panels real wood?

No shower though

Its from 1974, showers weren't a mod con then. I could probably have one fitted. Have to see about cost.

And yes, its all real wood :)

lol. Caravan = £400, Car = £100. So the entire outfit cost £500 :D

Obviously ive spent money on maintenance, and will spend some on the caravan, but i thought really, ya cant grumble for £500 for car + van :D

You are 22, you sold your Civic Type R, and now you have an old Volvo Estate and a Caravan.

And people take the mick out of ME for my 'old man' car choices?
