I plan to mate, I want GTA4 and Tiger Woods isn't something I am interested, nor the Fifa's tbh after a few goes I get bored and a few months later a new version is released... I just cant justify owning a football game anymore as there old so fast.

Really? Football games are the single type of game I go back to over and over. Definitely the genre that gets the most play out of me. I agree though, sell FIFA 08 and wait till FIFA 09 :)
 
imo, gta4 aint worth it. Had it on 360 (the superior for the game) and meh. Hypehype.

Either way your choice, should get a tidy bundle for the games :)

I use to love the fifa games, I was playing the original fifa way back in 1994 or around that time. I use to get so excited for them too but after Fifa 97 I gave up because a new version was getting released so fast it seemed. I know if I play 08 I will think its great, and then comes 09.. and soon after 10 is out... drives me nuts. NOW if Fifa cost £15 to buy brand new each year, THAT would be different. Or allow you to trade your last seasons game ie trade 08 for 09 and just pay a tenner each time you upgrade.

tbh I'm not really interested in any of them. I will play through Resistance and maybe 1 other but a lot of them I can see myself trying to dump within a week or so on the MM or ebay.

Have to agree. GTA IV may well have lost a lot of the replay value from previous versions, but as a game to play through once (as most games are for me) it was one of the most enjoyable games I played this year.

More varied mission types would have been good, but it's not like they've suddenly become bad, they're just very familiar.

Fantastic bargain on the ps3 as well you lucky sod.

I got mine this delivered this afternoon along with a ps3 today.
The logo lighting up is a nice touch and can even be turned on and off.

A few quick pics of it here that I just taken to show the logo :D

MGS4 this wkend hopfully, I cant wait!

How is the remote btw? Bit of a random question I guess but I am curious. I heard there is a button to light it up for use in the dark.

Limited money left for this month and can't decide on what to get!

The remote is very responsive from virtually any angle possible.

Layout of it is spot on and easy to remember.
I already do not need to look at it for the usual things.

There is no button to light it up but its not needed in the slightest as you will soon find out.

I must be thinking of the X series model I looked at.

I just got told my TV is in stock but the Stand isn't, they said SONY have the stand in stock though so they will ring in 2/3 days to confirm a shipping date, since it is bank holiday wkend looks like I won't get it until sometime next week! booooooo
 
The sammy 226bw does work with a HDMI - DVI cable and it run's @ 1080p.

I have one and it run's @ 1080p, it comes up with a temporary message on the screen that it's out range but it does run @ 1080p.

That is a steal at that price for the PS3 60Gb. I sold mine at xmas last year to make some £££, I got £680 JUST for the console!
 
wow £680 is crazy!

And so I have Metal Gear Solid 4 beside me right now, a PS3 and no LCD TV until next week by the sound of things.... great.... just great.

DON'T play MGS4 until you have a HDTV, you would be basically spitting in Kojimas face (and mine). Resist the urge, i believe in you.
 
At that price it might actually have been stolen I'd make sure you delete any gamer tags on it before going online they might track you like they did that other kid :p
 
You got quite a lot with it, when the 80 gig comes out its going to be about £240 tax free at the airport so if anyones travelling and thinking of getting a PS3 make sure you wait!
