Bought an old BMW M3, filled with regret...

I hope my subframe is cracked come the summer. Hoping for an m235i or m3/m4 loaner while they sort that. Maybe I'm dreaming though... :p

So yesterday I met up with Saul Goodman I mean Voxination (:D) for tea, catch-up and pics. Side by side the E92 is a margin bigger in all directions. Amazing how much heavier my doors are - Don't quite realise how much until you open get in and out of each right after the other.

Shame it was mostly raining, would have had the roof down otherwise.

Anyway, enough words.

They look great together. But which one sounds the best? :)

Naturally I would say the E46 M3 sounds better out of the two, but I do genuinely think the unique race-car like sound is the more ear pleasing, especially from inside the cabin! We will have to see at the RR soon which sounds best when not inside the cabin ;)

I've heard ones that do sound a lot like bees but mine doesn't sound like those! It's pretty meaty/throaty. You shall see

Edit*
Maybe from the outside though? :o

Having owned an E46 and an E92, the E46 sounds better to me when outside the car, but as soon as you put an after market exhaust on the E92 it sounds insane!

I still prefer the S54 over the S65.
