Boxing Day Footie *spoilers be inside*

It will be nice to see Arsenal get the 3pts for their game in hand and then the race for the title will be great coming into the new year. Hopefully all three can last the pace and make a really exciting finish to the season.
 
Another good win for Arsenal, if our injuries don't get much worse then maybe we can start to dream about the title :D
 
great night last nite at OT, game was really good, shame wigan played totally defensive and made nothing of the game. even when they got free kicks in united half to be dropped in the box only rodallega up front and they play it back anyway, wigan manager needs a sorting out he promised attacking football.

valencia and rooney were awsome all game and rooney should have had a hat trick. when you watch on tv you never see how much work rooney puts in.

Nice to see Arsenal bang 4 goals in but would have been nice to have kept a clean sheet...pleased to see Nasri, Ramsey and Song get on the scoresheet...so far we have like 15 different scorers that have scored goals for us...so thats a good sign that we no longer have to rely on one person only to get our goals a la Henry...although i wouldnt say no to him coming back:p.

Hopefully if we win our game in hand in the next week or so then we have a real good chance of sneaking the title...we are capable of beating Man Utd and Chelski as well but for some odd reason we go to pot when playing against them:(....the sooner we have Fabregas and the others back from injury the better obviously.

The big test comes at the end of Jan and beginning of Feb where we play Villa, Man Utd, Chelski and Liverpool all in a row.

If we get through that then it could be very interesting

Yep thats what im thinking...thats going to be a very interesting few games...i can see us beating all of them but it depends on how consistent we stay and if injuries dont affect us ie Fabregas comes back and stays fit etc...should have Clichy back as well and maybe Bender boy, who i dont rate but we could do with his height in the middle ie corners.
 
Arsenal are in a fantastic position now, wonder if every journalist in the country are still calling it a two horse race. The way journalists treat Arsenal is nothing short of ignorant and petty. Does anybody know why English journalists universally hate Arsenal, is it the typical xenophobia that most of this country seems to face?

I don't they are any worse to Arsenal than anyone else tbh, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd all get slated at some point.

I think someone's a little bit sensitive today ;)
 
Maybe, just sick of hearing Andy Gray and Richard Hairy Hands talk about how these wins are vital in Arsenal's 'race to 4th'. Very annoying.

I think the top four get the same treatment. Everyone loves to see someone fail when they have been successful in the past. Liverpool get it at the moment because they have dropped out of the radar. Man City have even started to get it because of the money they have spent.

We also have that tag of "potential" hanging over us which gets slapped in our faces each year.

Man Utd have got it in recent years as well I think when they started the season poorly a few years ago.

So I think we get it about the same as most on the abuse side of the media. :)

I dont think Andy Gray has ever liked Arsenal though. Not that we should lose any sleep over that ;)
 
Maybe, but Liverpool deserve their criticism this season, Arsenal don't! They've been awesome, best from Arsenal in years imo

While I agree in some respects, it is a bit annoying hearing the world and his dog on SSN talking about it being between Man Utd and Chelsea and us not even getting a mention. Of course I'd much prefer us not to get mentioned and win it than be mentioned as a contender and not win it though.
