Desmo said:Apologies if I've missed it mentioned already, but have you actually checked that you can get £25k worth of finance?
Morba said:im curious as to why you would be willing to spend so much money on a new car, but not on an older car then pay the insurance premium.
a boxster could be bought well within your budget and insured, as could an e36 M3.
£15k gets you a nice Focus RS
£15k gets you a bonkers car imported from Japan etc.
£15k gets you a E46 coupe with a decent engine
£15k gets you barnstorming power from a 5 series
£25k gets you not much more for your money considering you will lose out a lot on it.
£25k car + say £4k insurance for first year, £3k for 2nd, £2k for 3rd (presuming you have no fault claims) = £34k of motoring for 3 years.
You already know that you will lose near on £10k over 3 years on the car.
£34k spent, a car worth £12-£15k you will have.
Why not import a skyline R33 GTR (might be able to get a r34?) and add some mods. Should be well within £25k bracket etc.

I've done the new car thing and whilst it was nice, I very much doubt I'd ever bother again. I'd much rather be driving a far nicer/higher spec 2 year old car.
