Hamilton should get a penalty, hot lap or not it was dangerous. Vettel is in trouble too and rightly so!

If he gets a big penalty like being disqualified from qualifying and Mercedes end up with any DNF tomorrow the Ferrari fans will be after vettels head if they miss out on the constructors championship
 
He must get a penalty for that. Nearly Running a guy over, not getting weighed and stopping anyone else being weighed. Fia big on safety in the pit lane. He jerked forward twice when that guy was in front of him.

He should get a penalty and so should Hamilton, let's see what the FIA do.

Because they need to check teams are not cheating. If the teams knew they would never get called in during qualifying (and risk having their car disqualified for being underweight), then they would run the cars illegally light and gain a qualifying advantage. Sure you could weigh the cars after the session, but that would give the teams a window to put weight back in after a qualifying run, but before the end of the session.

The Williams was just two seconds before the last corner - that is crucial stage for the preparation lap - if this is not important, then the stewards can pack their baggages and go home.
Hamilton should get at least 5-place grid penalty plus fine for dangerous driving.
Vettel can get a fine penalty.

Vettel a typical German - Germany lost all wars but their pride is at such an extreme high, it is as if they own the Earth, and not Great Britain (with Australia, USA, Canada, and India in the past, plus many places in Africa) and Russia...

Ok, so I'm surprised it's not an exclusion from the session, but I'm also surprised that the fine is not significantly higher.
