Breaking Bad Season 4

He will turn it around :o not sure how but he must do!

The only thing i can see happening now is that he might kill jesse, as its the only way to insure gus doesn't kill him.

Not sure on what's going to happen to hank, its clear from earlier esp's that they have someone within the DEA.

Theres no way Walt would kill Jesse, neither Jesse would kill Walt. I think Jesse may end up getting killed though, as he still has hatered for Gus. Through getting that mexican kids cousin killed, and the fact that Gus just left Steve on the operating table in Mexico.

Also theres a possiblity of Walt Jr getting killed or involved some how, as a couple episodes back they dwelled on the fact that he heard Walt say "sorry Jesse" when he was high and deppressed on his meds.

Exellent episode though, the scene with Ted at his apartment had me and my brother in stitches.:D

That final scene was one of the most terrifying and haunting things I ever watched on television!

But on the back of my mind I couldn't help thinking "Oh yeah, etch-a-sketches and balkanized screws aren't gonna save you now, are they?" Does that make me petty?:D

In the scene where Walt is taken to the field, when he is responding to Gus's threat, there's landscape shot where he says the following:

"If you could kill me ... I'd already be dead."

I noticed that the the first part of that line, "If you could kill me" is in Mikes voice, and the second part in Walts voice. I checked properly and I'm certain the first part is in Mikes voice, you can hear a clear change in sound for just that bit, as if someone did a really poor voice dub.

Anyone else notice this? If so, wtf???

I noticed that straight away. It was def Mike's voice. Maybe Mike died and was channling through Walt? Mike now lives in Walt? Those are the theories going around the internet right now.

j/k.

Another amazing episode. The ending scene deserves an oscar or something. Walt is just such an excellent actor. His laugh was of a men completely gone insane. The look of fear on skylar's face was shocking.

Heisenberg to be in full effect for the last two episodes. He has nothing to lose..well apart from his family that is. Next episode to open with Walt slowly putting on his hat and shades and saying "its on" while pumping a shotgun in the air with one hand. Time to start knocking on some doors.

Something I just read. Gomie to be Gus's inside man?

oh and Sonic.:D

The thing is, most of that episode felt fairly light up until the end, it reminded me of the first season with its twisted humour. So far through most of this season we've had unremitting nail-biting tension, only really broken by that final scene last week. So to have some fairly carefree stuff felt almost like a relief. Ted face planting the kitchen cupboards, Tyrus ignoring Walt's typical bluster with that sarcastic look of his, Huell's weird pointy head.

Then at the end, BAM, it hits us with its awesomeness.

Also, it's not Mike's voice, it's just a weird overdub. I noticed it too.

I think they must have just got that camera shot with the cloud passing overhead purely by chance, and then decided to put the audio track over it afterwards. It doesn't really look like Bryan Cranston is talking at any point during that shot, so I reckon they just told them to hold position whilst they shot the light.

The kitchen scene was pure comedy lol. :D

I too noticed the cloud shot and lack of talking but failed to notice that Mike is now a spirit who has entered Walt.

For me, nothing has topped episode 7. The acting in that episode and build up of suspense was unreal. The latest episode felt pretty tame until the whole walt potentially dying scene.

Mike's voice? Just a weird bit of editing. It's definitely Bryan Cranston's voice.

Walt certainly can't take matters into his own hands now.

At first I thought "nah, it's just Cranston trying to act growly and badass", but the whole thing with the cloud passing and the fact that we haven't heard anything from Mike since they dumped him with that doctor right at the beginning makes me think they might have done it on purpose. (I still think it's Cranston's voice, I just think maybe they were deliberately trying to reference Mike)

It's quite possible that we're sliding down the waterslide of sanity along with the characters and overanalyzing things though, I mean first the "was the dude's arm pointing at Jessie" last week and now this?:D

Oh, by the way, DID I NOT CALL IT ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO BENNEKE?? :D

This series is awesome.

The hysterical laughing was brilliant, you can see that he's slowly losing his mind now with all of the burdon.

I don't believe in the Mike channelling through Walt stuff, it is NOT that type of show. If that is the case then I'll be utterly disappointed due to it being a farcical pile of crap that no one could believe would ever happen.

It does sound a lot like Mike, but I'm not sure if it is. Keep playing it over and over, his voice tone is changing a lot due to panting etc. Either that or they screwed the shoot and needed a dub over? Or put it in there purely to screw with us to cause this type of reaction :D (a likely scenario given the awesome ability of the writers)

)

Was just joking. This isn't the type of show to do that.

I still think Walt is dead and his alter ego Heisenberg will come out in full force. He and Jesse will most likely team up again and take on Gus and Mike. Jesse and Walt can't be done with each other, they have gone through too much.

Bryan Cranston interview - http://seriable.com/breaking-bad-bryan-cranston-on-the-agony-and-ecstasy-of-walts-journey/

In season 3, there are at least four huge moments that make you jump up on the couch, mouth agape, disbelieving of what has just played out. They are some of the biggest ‘wow’ moments of any TV series. Are you going to continue down that path in season 4? Or are you going to slow things down a bit?

Bryan Cranston: I can honestly say that there will be plenty of photos of me, with my mouth agape, during season 4…Probably more than season 3. When you think about it, this simple plan that this man thought up so long ago has just spun completely out of control. He was ill equipped to handle it. Walter White’s life is going to get more complicated, not less, as the series goes on. It is going to twist tighter and tighter and tighter. It is well crafted. Vince Gilligandoes a masterful storytelling job. We set the tempo. We slow it down, we speed it up. By having this slower pace, which you won’t see on broadcast TV but only on cable channels, because its left up to the story runner to devise his own way of storytelling…If its left up to the artists, and not the studio or network executive to call the shots, then more often than not, you are going to see a well-crafted, slower paced roll out. So that what happens when you do it slower is…We create this tension, and we create this image of people being oddly attracted to this car accident of a show…And you see people start to lean forward. We can feel them starting to reach, to ask, and they want more. They need more. Just when they start to reach in, we close the trap. Now, we have them in the cage, and we take them on this wild ride that they don’t always want to go on. That was the devised plan. We got to know Walt, and we kind of fell for him in the beginning. His plight was so horrible. He had to work these two jobs, because he is not well paid as a teacher. His health care system is not going to cover what he needs. All of these things were set up for him to make this risky choice and this drastic decision. Without those components, he wouldn’t have been compelled to make those moves.

Apparently Ted is dead. He died when he hit his head.

really? lol. That is what is being said on all the tv forums anyway.

and the bags of blood of Jesse pretty much cancels out the "Hank pointing his gun at Jesse" theory right out the window.

That's why Saul was shouting at them?

That's why Saul was shouting at them?

I don't think they would act like that if he just knocked himself out. They had to stay with him for a few days for the money to clear. They wouldn't leave otherwise.

It wasn't really explained to be honest. Why would Saul be angry if Ted was just out for a while? As long as he gets up and they can complete the transaction.

This all leads to him being dead.

It's impossible to say whether Ted is dead or not, I thought he was moving after falling over anyways.

People are missing the obvious as to why Saul was upset and shouting. (Maybe he is dead)

Or, rather more, Skylar said specifically that no one was to get hurt. Saul promised her his A-team and they have clearly embarrased and failed him.

Just a thought.
