US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

Amazing end. Just wow.

Really glad he went back and sorted out the grey matter stuff, was a brilliant way of dealing with it. Jesse's liberation was really well done. Walt's ending was just amazing, he died happy and had fully completed everything he wanted to do.

Very satisfied with the ending. Everything was tied up perfectly and why would it not, it's been a great series so far. Restored my faith a little in large scale TV program endings after a few dire ones in recent years.

I'm still reeling from the episode almost four hours later.

I could be completely forgetting some important contestants... But I honestly believe Breaking Bad is the best TV show I have ever seen, that has ever been on TV. The show has been an absolute rollercoaster, and I've cared about these characters more than I should. This episode was a perfect ending to a fantastic series.

I'm re watching it with the Mrs, she's at the end of the second series at the moment, she said to me the other night "Woah, this is getting out of hand for them"

She has no idea...........

I tried to get my misses to watch it the other day so I could do the same thing, and she said she didn't like it. I'm thinking of dumping her. :D

Quick question.....

Is Huell still sat in the safe house?

I feel this should have been dealt with....poor Huell :(

What can I say apart from, I don't think i've ever seen a TV show go out on such a high.

Simply superb... nothing else to say apart from, I'm so sad to know that was the final episode...

Wife and I watched this morning. Both of us felt this was the best and most satisfying ending to a show we had ever seen.

We compared this to the end of Lost. That was probably the least satisfying ending to a show ever.

My only negative about the whole show, was the laser pointers, it was just a little on the predictable side, the rest of the episode was pure class. Everything tied up into neat little bundles.

Was it? REALLY?

The beauty of it was that hes paid some very evil people in the past to destroy others.. so it wasnt predictable at all, i actually believed him.. it was a clever touch and showed his mind at work AGAIN

Why did Walt put his watch on the payphone btw ?

Jesse gave it him as a birthday present as he's never owned a watch (if you recall), explained by vince he had worn it a year he was off to find jesse, he thought it was the right time to leave it behind..

I believe it was a subtle closure to the heisenberg character, one year later etc

i think its the same reason we don't see the porkpie hat again, in the last episode heisenberg wasn't coming back anymore.. this was walt, walt needed to fix it all

Also in the preview he wasn't wearing it.... So they had to find a reason to ditch it before he carried on the journey.
