US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

Walts very last actions secured his legacy as Heisenberg, and also helped Jesse out... caring for him until the very end... or, was it still part of Walts selfishness showing through, claiming credit for someone elses work, or was it him taking the credit for "his product"?
or was he trying to protect jesse knowing the feds would think walter was the cook rather than going to look for the real cook of that lab?

Ha, did anyone else think that line about the knife was exactly like something Mike would have said?

Perfect ending for me!

I don't think so.
Remember that Walt wanted Jessie dead, he arranged to have him killed.

When Walt handed Jessie the gun, it was because he knew when he went into that situation that he wasn't coming out of it alive, one way or another. He knew how angry Jessie was and wanted to give him the chance to finish it. Jessie choosing not to do it was significant because of how Walt had constantly manipulated Jessie throughout the show, his defiance at the end was that he wasn't going to do what Walt wanted, meaning whatever he had decided couldn't happen exactly the way he saw it.

Essentially Jessie not killing Walt actually helps him more because it doesn't make him the murderer of Walter White. But as I've already pointed out, Jessie is a wanted man and would have to disappear, the Police and Agencies are going to be looking for him regardless. They know he is involved, whether they piece together how he has killed Gale or not and realise that he was also manufacturing the drugs.

Huell is still in the room waiting for Hank to get back to him lol.

Well what can I say. An end to one of the best shows I've seen since Stargate SG1. Now time to buy that BARREL bluray boxset!

Don't know if this has been posted before but ill mention it.

Firstly wow what an ending!!!

Notice when Walt finally falls? He rubs his hand across that container? It's very similar to what happened in the first episode as he passes out during work in the car wash.

Loved every second and in my opinion was the perfect ending. Although... I would have loved Walt to draw killing uncle jack out, set fire to the money and told him he decided he was going to kill him 10 mins ago and pow!

heisenberg wanted jesse dead , walt didnt?

I thought this ep was about heisenberg going away and walt coming back like when grey matter on tv said anything left of walt is gone it seemed to make him realise what he had became and he wanted to try and make everything right.

getting rid of the blue meth , killing all the bad people etc and making it back like it was before he started almost.
He had no reason to kill lydia other than she was in the meth trade?

Fantastic ending to the show, I know it was a bit predictable but it was wholly satisfying seeing the loose ends tied up and the arcs for various characters complete. I watched it a second time and it was even more powerful.
