Breaking Bad

Or what? Are you gettin offended because I'm passing judgement on the actions of a fictional character?

Fwiw I'd say the same of a real person doing the same...

I stopped watching about half way through season 5, I just got a bit bored really. I'll have to start again and finish it at some point since this thread reminded me.

Agreed, he did very little to help his family.
When Gus was there he had a good thing going but shame he ruined it, even Jesse's part was really silly.

Then you obviously didn't pay attention.

It all went pear shaped when Walt realised Gus was going to kill him if he wanted to pull out of the deal.

Like someone said further up the thread, binge watching it doesn't portray how good it was, watching from the start and waiting months between seasons was made it fascinating.

So, you're saying that the user created debate and guessing about the show was better than the actual show. On it's own the show doesn't do itself justice?

I liked it btw, but I prefer other shows, and unless the gf wants to watch it, highly doubt i will ever watch it again.

I didn't say that at all.

What I said was that watching a show from start to finish in a week doesn't give you the sense of thinking about what might happen/speculating. The show does itself justice but without the wait for the next episode/season it loses some of that because people are watching it like it's a film.

You're wrong.

It was Walters actions that led to Gus wanting to kill Walter.
Remember when Walt killed those two dealers, running one over and shooting the other? If Walt hadn't killed them and caused problems for the operation then the rest wouldn't have occurred.

You can marathon shows and still get the same feeling.
The Wire (for the first time) is absolutely top notch, you WANT to watch the next episode to see what is going to happen next. Forcing yourself wait a week is just stupid

And why did he do that?

Do you think it was because he needed Jesse?

Have a think before you proclaim people are wrong :)

Who forced themselves to wait a week, you do realise BB started like 5/6 years ago?

It wasn't a case of waiting a week through choice, again, engage brain first. :)

I really don't understand this. So you sat and watched 90% of the entire show then right as it's building up to a big conclusion you decide 'nope can't be bothered???'

I can understand if you decided in season 1 or 2, maybe even 3 to stop watching - but to waste all of that time (50 hours or so?) to then think **** it seems very odd behaviour lol

Yeah I realised the second time I watched it that it's quite overrated. Unlike the Sopranos and The Shield which are just brilliant.

Your opinion on anything regarding film or TV shows (execpt The Shield) is unimportant and incorrect.

Breaking bad is quite simply, amazing.

I stopped in Season 5 when the young lad on the motorbike (the one who collected the spider in the opening scene) got shot. I just sat there open-mouthed and I haven't been able to get back into it since.

Gus was going to kill walter as soon as he had the formula for the meth imo. That didn't happen but gus was always going to get rid of walter.
