mine arrived this morning and it is pretty good but the cable is too short so it cannot be routed behind the monitor so I need to buy an extension for it

I suspect that's more to do with the blue affecting the camera's white balance.

Got mine yesterday, it works very well. As others have said, the cable is quite short and the other issue is getting them to come on and off with the monitor. Even with it plugged into the PC, they stay on when its off as there is always power going to the USB sockets. Going to look into some sort of switch to control it.

Yes, because you have an LCD paneled monitor, not an LED one.

Well they dont come in red for a start you would need the other ones in a strip ocuk do that you change the colour on and i would envisage the lifetime on an led bulb to me quite long certainly longer than the time of owning 1 tv set
