Been running ambient lighting for a while now on both my PC and TV monitor. Helps hugely with eyestrain for me. Great product OcUK!

Would be pretty nice for illuminating a keyboard if you have one of those tiered desks. I'm debating it just for a reading light; quite comfortable looking at my monitor, but USB powered LED illuminations seems handy for all sorts of things.

Also ordered one to test it out as the lighting in my room is grim. Still showing out of stock though so do I just wait and see if one gets dispatched in the next few days or what?

Can people feed back their experiences with this. Really keen. May just buy one first as last.......

My monitor is wall mounted so my only option is to mount the kit above/below the vesa plate. WIll this affect it too much?

I have an LED monitor, would these not be needed for such a monitor?

LED just means that the backlighting is provided by LED's rather than CCFL's.

I got one strip the other day fro my 27" Hazro and I don't think it's enough. Two should be fine though.

Is it worth it ?? I think so yes. Means I can work away whilst having the other lights off and have this on. Great price

Really looking forward to seeing how well they actually perform, as is my housemate who is eagily waiting the delivery also. We both have absymal lighting in our student rooms so this makes great sense. Just hope it performs well!

Not hooked up yet as I'm waiting on my wall mount before I stick this on because of the wall mount plate etc, but the LED's are very very bright as you can see. So looks promising! Hopefully have my wall mount in the next day or so.
