Just seen this available for pre-order on Steam -

http://store.steampowered.com/app/22350/

New SP/MP game from Bethesda Softworks and the video is looking interesting to say the least! http://www.brinkthegame.com/

They have brought out what they call S.M.A.R.T, which stands for Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain. Looks like a cross between Mirrors Edge and an MP shooter.

Will be keeping a close eye on this it could be a bit epic.

IT looks like it could be good in a "TF2 style" with well defined classes and cartoony style but yes i have a terrible feeling its gone to burn hard.

One thing that drives me mad is prone diving seeing that this is an integral part of the game id be interested how this works in MP, or does everyone just spend their entire time sliding about 2 foot off the floor like in AHL (which coincidently was hilarious!)

I will keep half of one eye on it tho just in case it is good.

so the S M A R T button is like the high profile button on assassins creed, you hold it down and run at something and you go over it.

Looks interesting but I've got a feeling it's going to be rubbish

I just saw this popup on Steam...

All i could think of was "Borderlands says hello"...

Think i'd have to go with the general opinion here that it will suck.

pretty much.

I think it's more a tech demo than a prober game tbh.

Its being made by Splash Damage who made the enemy territory games so i have pretty high hopes for the game. Also its a british company which is always a good thing.

A bit suprised its available for preorder alreay though, its not meant to come out until next spring.

You know i can't say i have high hopes of a game that isn't released for at least 5 months (i've heard q1) and already has a free 'DLC' if you preorder. I call it a sign of things to come, buy this empty shell of a game and fill it at extra cost? I think not.

/optimism
