Bristol People

last time i went to bristol i ventured out of the hotel im serch of the nightlife
the hotel was in the haymarket aera of the city..... after twenty mins id been asked a good half a dozen times if i wanted to buy some gear ( dope) asked twice if i was looking for a woman ( both times by black guys on mountain bikes , and no its not raceist ) seen a car being done over , chav had put the back window in and was rifileing through the back, and to top it off i was " approached by two smack heads who told me that if i didnt give them my wallet theyd " spike me " nice place.....
incedently i gave them my fags ( only three left ) and told them to " go away before i ripped em a new one "

i will never go there again, its the rs hole of the west county and i genuinley feel sorry for anyone who has to live in the more squallid parts of the city as the majority of it is acctually quite nice.

Im sure you could say that about run down areas in pretty much any city in the country. Ive lived here all my life, and never had any of that happen to me, my brother was mugged once, and that was in a more upmarket area, so it just proves it can happen anywhere.

I dont think because you had one bad experience you can say with any sort of accuracy or certaincy that its the ****hole of the west, because I truely love it here and wouldnt live anywhere else if you paid me.

we might talk like farmers, but at least we don't have to look at fat teenage mums with there bellys and **** hanging out everywhere.

;)

Pfft, before they turn themselves in to fat teenage mums, those same girls (albeit thinner ones) are one of the main attractions of good old Yate!!

there's any of those girls left? I though they all died a few years back.

No, theres a constant cycle, the good old circle of life as it were, thats what I love about college girls, as I get older they stay the same age ;) :D

I even actually met a really nice one, who wasn't like your typical Yate girl one bit, although all her friends were. We are still friends now after we moved on from anything else and shes gone to a good uni and everything.

brilliant film :)...

Chipping sodbury is a great night out and I have to admit after all the joking the girls down there are nice.

ZOMG.... Yate...?!? Bwahaha.

I lived for a few years in Patchway (never again!!!) and Sadly Broke, which are quite varied parts of the city even though they're right next t each other. Sadly Broke was nothing like Clifton though... I'd love to buy a bedsit in Clifton if I ever win the lottery (would have to be a rollover though).

Is the Mud Dock still going? They used to do lush food.

Closest I get to Brizzle these days is popping over the The Mall on a Sunday afternoon and then eating at Chiquito's just over the road.

How can you say that if you've never lived anywhere else?

I like Bristol too but it's not the be all and end all :)

Because wherever I go in the world (and yes I have been to quite a lot of places) I still love the feeling knowing im just about to arrive home.

;)

Hey, that's only if you stray over to the Cranleigh Court area. Thankfully I live on the opposite side of Yate ;)
