Britain's Got talent

^^

I think we all know its more sympathy then talent and that the show is rigged

But the girl who sang opera why didn't her mum ever go on camera or wasn't in ordiance? because i thought she must have been dead till she said in final she thanks her mums for helping her out singing. anyone know? just curios :)

Saw part of the final earlier and just had a look through the second semi-final. Couldn't believe how wide a gulf in talent there was between the best and the worst! I thought Escala gave a brilliant performance, striking and original (though I may be a little biased as they were also gorgeous...) Nemesis were also outstandingly choreographed and presented. On the other hand, what was with the rather large woman - Alya or whatever her name was? It was truly scraping the barrel. I see dancing of that calibre on a Saturday night; why the hell do I want to watch it on telly when I'm sober?

They deliberately let through a few awful people to keep the show "entertaining", there was one act every night. If you though the fat dancer woman was bad, you should check out the keyboard player from the first night. I actually feel kinda sorry for these people, because they're obviously just allowed on so they can be humiliated on tv.

I saw a repeat last night and was shocked at that 12 year old's voice - she deserved to win it IMHO. Absolutely damn amazing singing.

The Ventriloquist from the American version of the show is a worthy winner, however, with regard to the break dancing kid. Well I think he was ordinary, I thought signature was much more entertaining as well as Gin & Kate. I honestly feel like if I was given a week, I could have done a dance routine equal or better to that kids, or perhaps if someone had given me 10 beers to drink I would have bettered it. Also, I think Escala were hard done by.

Indeed, but the sympathy votes count for an awful lot on Britain's got talent.

I knew as soon as soon as I saw the kid who did opera that he would make it a long way in the competition, I mean his first audition they spent a good few minutes showing some sob story about him having been bullied and he was all puppy dog eyes.

You can just tell by the way their audition is edited (time given/story/music etc), it's just not very fair on the other contestants who don't try to pull on the audiences emotional strings that's all.

probably camera shy

Well done to George. Best act by far.

I don't think that was what he had planned to do because on Britain's Got More Talent on Friday, when they were showing a preview of their final routine rehearsals, George had no music. Mulhern said that he was having two tracks mixed together and it wasn't ready yet. Obviously the Singin' In The Rain track wasn't what he was talking about.

I think the dog should have won it tbh! ;).. that said I think the winner was pretty good. However i give more hats off to the production team and stage hands; which he relied strongly on. Without them or the props on stage his performance wouldn't of got the votes. Plain and simple.

Simply not true, the music used is Mint Royale - Singing in the Rain released last year. I'll also add George totally leeched the routine and idea from the VW car advert of last year which also plays the exact same music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex7Uu5x6ssY If only other car adverts were as cleaver and amusing

I think the hot blonde from Escala should have won - now that's a talent!!

Agree with the above though - he had a major advantage of having a fancy stage set which made it look waaaay cooler than what it actually was!

I know. That's my point. Stephen Mulhern said that he was having two tracks mixed together for his final routine. Obviously with Singin' In The Rain, it was already done. Have it on my HDD somewhere. :)
