British Grand Prix 2010, Silverstone Circuit - Race 10/19

A rubbish penalty, he was run off the road an avoided an accident. That's not justice at all.

If it was around Monaco he would've had to brake as he couldn't make the move stick, the only reason he didn't brake was because he knew he could just cut the corner.

He overcommited a corner earlier and didn't back off, instead trying to force Kubica off the racing line. Kubica understandably didn't budge, Alonso ate grass and should have backed off and given back the position immediately. Justice has been served.

That doesn't matter, what matters is Kubica ran him off the road, he didn't leave a cars width which forced Alonso off track. Alonso shouldn't be punished for that.

But it's not monaco because if it was monaco Kubica would have run Alonso into the wall and caused an accident.

Alonso giving the place back would have been fair. The fact that Kubica then retired couldn't be helped by Ferrari, and a drive through imo is unnecessarily harsh. I'm enjoying the punishment (esp after last race) but I don't think it was the right thing to do.

If it was around monaco, Alonso would have had to let Kubica hit him, take both of them out and tae it from there.

See Spa 2008 - same penalty applied.
FIA in consistency shocker!

No he wouldn't because Alonso wouldn't have attempted such a stupid move without a run-off.

It wasn't a stupid move, there was plenty of space for both of them, Kubica just forced him wide. Kubica wouldn't have done that if there hadn't been run off.
