British Grand Prix 2010, Silverstone Circuit - Race 10/19

Really happpy for Mark - he deserved it after a faultless race
Hamilton did ok, with Alonso's bad start and Vettel going off and then puncture, Lewis held station really

Rosberg did well, quiet progression through the race(given he started 5th)

JB did very well after a brilliant start (14th to 8th in first lap), lucky with the Alonso penalty (which Alonso bought on himself) but otherwise drove really well and pushed when necessary, pity he had to conserve fuel at the end

Vettel was VERY lucky, didnt really deserve any points (especially with his barge on Sutil at the end), not really surprising how easily he got past so many until that point given the car he had

Vettel done awesome there, and absolutely deserved to win that race, feel so bad for him that he got that puncture - he would have been 1st if it wasn't for that.

hahahahaha my sarcasm meter doesn't seem to be working

He was poor and the safety car did him a huge favour.

I would love Webber to take the title now, more than I'd like a Mclaren driver. It would be a nice finger up at the way Red Bull have tried to undermine him all year.
Amen. Vettel is a quality driver but I hate any situation where a driver is being given such obvious favouritism a la Schumacher/Ferrari.

The best parts now go to the driver on the least points. :p
To maximise the chances of Red Bull winning both championships of course. ;)

TBH it seems like they're trying their darndest to manufacture Vettel as the future face of Red Bull, Webber is crashing the party somewhat.
Perhaps Webber didn't get the memo. Or his dogs chewed on it before he could read it. ;)

Could it be that RBR were just giving Webber a bit more fire seeing that he obviously drives better when he's angry.

So coming from 24th to 7th is terrible? Plus having a terrible first lap? Cmon.

In the fastest car in the field, with a safety car which bunched them all up.

A battling performance at the end of the race after the SC got him within sight of the pack but off the pace and very meh before that.

Would have been nice to JB on the podium though. :/

He wouldn't have got near the points if the safety car hadn't come out. So would it be a good drive for a Virgin driver if he won from last because every car infront broke down?

24th to 7th had a huge amount of luck rather than pace, before the safety car he wasn't fast enough.

Ok this is what ****es me off. The media are absolutely trying to cause problems, more than there may already be.

I think its pathetic.
