They will have to stay of the kerbs, or pit every ~10 laps or red flag.

I hope Pirelli get slated in the media tomorrow. They have been telling lies all year. We have never had this many punctures with any other tyre manufacturer.

+1 its shocking that the tire's are failing this easy !!!

There was one in gp2 I think it was.

I'm not convinced that's the case however I don't think Paul Hembery knows what's going on. Everytime he opens his mouth he just seems to be talking about an entirely different race.

You are probably right, which is even more worrying if they don't know what is going on.

Well it realy does sound like the curbs are causing the issue.
But then the tyres should be built so the kerbs don't cut the tyre.

So yes the curbs are causing it, but they aren't the issue.

There have been numerous tyre failures all season.

To be fair to Pirelli,they have been tasked with making tyres that are not as durable.

If the tyres are being cut they need to red flag the race and check the track.

Tyres shouldn't blow up when they get hot, they should be tough enough to cope with the speeds those cars do.

Yep which is fair enough, there cars are easy on the tyre. But now it's clearly a safety issue, those tyres will be changed and they won't be allowed to veto it.

So, where do we go from here? They can't fix this problem before the next race surely, especially since current teams can't help them develop.

Not as durable as in last 15 laps instead of 50, not less durable as in randomly explode in a dangerous manner.

This is looking increasingly like a failing of their manufacturing process not a result of the style of tyre wear the FIA asked them to produce.
