British Grand Prix 2014, Silverstone - Race 9/19

If Kimi had slowed down when he left the track he wouldn't have launched his car rejoining, drivers are that used to runoffs that they no longer slow down upon leaving the track. Bring back gravel traps.

Would have launched still even at a lower speed, may not have lost control as much as he came down, could have lost control and gone left instead of right. Hitting the barrier first at least gave other drivers a chance to react and cars further back to see it coming. If he'd gone left 5-6 cars might have all piled straight into each other with no warning.

Probably a stupid question since the car is written off, but does Ferrari not have any recorded onboard footage saved of Kimi going off and back on track up and till the crash?

Guess not, unless they are being a little over cautious in case his injury is quite bad and they dont want to show it.

I've cleaned the fridge and played with the cat, I'm bored now, hurry up restart!
