Mercedes are going to be pushed in quali, but their long runs are far ahead of everyone else.

Edit: why on earth was this merged with the other thread, they are completely different topics :p

Anyone at or near the circuit? Any rain coming? I’m 37 miles away and it’s raining here.

    That Mercedes middle sector! Geez.

Ferrari looking good given they are on the mediums.

There are a lot of showers developing. Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned.

Vettel getting his excuse in early in case Leclerc beats him. DRS problems apparently? is he even pressing the button? :p

    Vettel with ‘car problems’.

Ferrari confused about their strategy as usual.

Except Hamilton? Interesting strategy change. Mercedes sticking to the plan.

Vettel is a complete non entity these days. Leclerc is well and truly on top.

Hamilton will start on Mediums, everyone else on softs.

    [edit]

Bottas and the Red Bulls will also start on the medium tyre.

Bottas didn’t improve his time either I don’t think. So Mercedes starting on the mediums. Surely the better strategy in the long run?

Absolutely, especially if Ferrari think they’ll only get 10 laps.

He's been having them recently at every track where Leclerc looks better.

Hamilton could do without that mistake again! Darn.

He has it in the bag if he can correct that error.

    Where are ferrari?
