Broken Pixel Buds? Good luck getting Google to replace them.

I've always had great customer service from Amazon.

In the past I've gone on to the web chat to merely make a suggestion for the layout of the webpage and the search functions and they've credited my account a £5 voucher without even asking.

And products that have gone out of the 12 month warranty window they've dealt with efficiently and promptly.

So maybe that's why my experience with Google surprised me.
Possibly, but your attitude is abhorrent.

Amazon will dish out all the £5 vouchers in the world for sod all but my experience is they ask a few more questions when you want £100 worth of tech replacing.

Let it go man. You can make personal attacks at me all you like, but really what is your end goal here.

I've come back to the thread and still you persist. Are you related to Abi or something?

Or are you a simp, trying to defend her honour?

My life is pretty poor but it isn't that unfulfilled I take it out on $2/day CS staff at Google, lol.

Here norm, let me help:

"Yeah you guys are right, I was frustrated and took it out on the chat agent, wasn't really his fault"

The end.
You shouldn't really be assuming someone's gender like that. God forbid random persons on the internet call you rude.

Did Norm get replacement headphones? I’m not reading 11 pages!

Yes, and it only took them about 5 times as long as it needed to because they were being an arse. But they feel like they asserted their dominance over a random stranger doing a thankless job for low pay, so Norm is obviously a winner! Then they came back here to try insulting people in the mistaken belief that (a) any of us would care and (b) that them being an arse would prove that we were wrong about them being an arse. Unlike customer service people, we don't have to put up with their behaviour. We can just ignore it. As the song says...."It means nothing to me".

So they wasted some of their life in order to get some free earbuds that they didn't want while making life worse for a servant. What an amazing achievement!

It does look pretty drawn out and long winded looking at the op. I just can't believe someone would post about pixel bud warranty claims at a time like this. It's just thoughtless to so many others in need right now. Those poor 4090 owners.

So that's it then... I clearly didn't read the bit about the new free earbuds. Id call that pretty good service personally. If you have ever dealt with BT or some other companies out there you would still be on hold.

Well wrong in the sense that if people didn't use customer service, there would be no customer service roles.

So by me actually engaging with this chat operative for nearly an hour, I am actually justifying their job. So they can thank me later.

No doubt Google will be eagerly awaiting the rollout of their new AI to fill the roll of humans in tech support soon.

I had my washing machine fixed by Samsung for free (out of warranty) because i asked nicely, sometimes being nice does work wonders.

@op you will reach Australia soon, or this will become a meme thread like the gucci belt one.
