Brother was mugged

Actually the problem is that the guys who did it are Muslims, and asian. They didn't think twice about mugging your brother or his friend because they have no respect for non-Muslims or non-asians.

But, bottom line is the guys who did it are also thugs and thieves. IMO if the police, courts and government did their job anyone behaving like this would caught and thrown behind bars for at least 5 years, or extradicted if of foreign origin. Just load them on the next plane back, with the warning if they ever return it will be the biggest mistake they ever made.

I think Britain (and Ireland) have enough scum on the streets without importing it.

Claws and I'm assuming his younger brother too are Indian though, but not Muslim.

Sorry to hear about this mate, some peolpe eh? Regardless of religion or race, one person intimidating another into hading over possessions they bought fair and square is bang out of order, and scumbags like that should be locked up to fight amongst themselves.

So he has assumed that they are muslims because he is fairly certain he knows who they are. So if they are who he thinks they are then they are muslims.

Neither have I but then that is not what he said. He said THSES GUYS have no respect for non muslims.

I never liked the blanket term "asian" anyway, seeing as it refers to over half the world's population. But I stand by my point, there is a ghetto mentality with many "minorities" (particularly youths) that makes them think they have a right to behave in such a way here that they would be given a life sentence for if they behaved like that in their own country.

But as I said, there is no shortage of white thugs either. I blame the justice system for allowing this behaviour to go unpunished.

My mates cousins however are hard working and busy people. In the end we just moved college because even I had to keep looking over my shoulder.

But it wasn't was it. Plus he has stated that since a large number of muslims have come to the college that there has been a significant change in the levels of aggression and trouble. Perhaps he is feeling targetted because of his own origins. Perhaps he is simply stating the raw truth of his situation.

Of the muslims I know - mainly current or ex- work colleagues - two are white (one is even ginger, ffs), one is Guinean and black, four or five white and Lebanese, one is Moroccan, and a handful are Singaporean (mainly Malaysian).

Well I felt some sympathy at the start of your post but as you managed to turn what is an nasty and unfortunate situation into a stereotyping diatribe about the evil of muslims I kinda lost it half way through. I suggest you go to the police in future and tell you brother the same thing.

Basing the whole argument on the religeon of the people who did this just perpetuates the problem, there are nasty people of all religeons out there, if you alienate a person because of their faith or colour then eventually their propensity for violence or crime is likely to increase as they cannot find a place in society, please try to avoid stereotyping people just because of the unfortunate event.

If the OP had mentioned that the muggers were wearing Nike trainers three times in his post i'd think 'Hmm....he's putting a lot of emphasis on what should be a trivial detail'.

Maybe so, but he appears to be suggesting all muslims that have moved in to the area since 1997 are trouble makers. It's great fun to generalise aint it
