I am playing on veteran too and I find they do sus you out if you creep round to flank them, but you do get a moment to take them out. I like the fact they adapt. Finding the game hard but half of that is the fidly controls.
 
Anyone else noticed that quite often the A.I will be holding the gun in front of them yet the bullets manage to curl round and shout you?
 
^ Yep, that looks bloody stupid.

I have seen the AI get stuck on objects on a lot of occasions and my AI team mates generally seem to be thick.

Still cant go prone on this 'authentic game' and its very linear. Its ok though, i just bought it as i wait for Fifa 09.
 
I am enjoying the game so far and like the strategic part. But you have to play this game how the developers want you to. So each section is almost like a puzzle not so much a shooter.

The only thing that is annoying me is the fact that when your shooting from cover you don't look down the sight of the gun but use a cross hair :mad:

Picked up a copy today started playing at 12:00 on veteran setting. So far so good what i expected, quite a tactical game:)
Just going through a mission called baptism of fire, i dont go much on the solo parts of the game, but theres been very few and not that long.

Anyone played the mp yet, im sure itll be fun to see whos got the tactical edge.

Call of duty 1 & 2
MOH Airborne

Huh no I completely disagree, WW2 has been done to death and there are about a million WW2 games out there, at least. Possibly two million. There are only two modern shooters.

did anyone get a t shirt with theres? i got one with my copy and you had to put it in water lol,havent seen a t shirt like that befor.It came packed in a shape of a grenade

It's a bit silly to dismiss a game just because of the environment / time it's set in. How many sci-fi shooters are there or survival horror games, modern combat has seen it's recent fair share of titles and how many fanstasy rpg's are there?

BiA:HH offers a new game based in a familiar setting, granted. But the campaign set in Holland offers an insight into one particular series of battles that had a direct impact on the war and hasn't to my knowledge been used in another game.

I know what you're saying as I've played COD2, COD3 and MoH:A this last couple of years but I've played way more Sci-Fi shooters and JRPGS. There's room for every niche and just because somethings been in vogue for a couple of years doesn't mean all future titles should be dismissed out of hand.
 
Played the game a couple of times now and have to be honest the multiplayer is shocking. The graphics are very poor and well its like games were 5 years ago.

Single player is a bit better but after a couple of plays its on the 'bay' I'm afraid.

I expected more from Ubisoft but the game just isnt up to scratch. I dont know if I am comparing it to COD, well yeah I am come to think of it, new games are just gonna have to compete with the likes of COD.

I was wanting BIA HH to be good but it aint imo
 
i feel abit let down with the game so far,i expected abit more.i find the graphics could be allot better,seems to be allot of juddering graphics when it switches from scenes in the background and then when sum thing happens up close.I also find the way your character walks with his gun makes me feel sea sick,gun goes up and down and side to side.

Again....the good ones imo are the only ones that matter, of that theyre few and far between. How many racing games are there on the market? How many strategy games? How many futuristic\modern shooters? Im talking pc and console here since bia is on both.
 
All i can sum my experience with this game is the sheep...Ok...so next time you see a sheep walk up to it...what does it do?...hmm stands motionless and sounds like its a stuffed one with a speaker inside making BAAA noises...Then the only time if comes to life is when you shoot it and it goes all Floppy...WTF? what happend to next gen.

My eperience is summed up by that sheep! Yawn!
 
I quite like it, gonna give it a rest now and finish the last level tomorrow.
Well im guessing its the last mission cause of the levels name:)
Its took me 6 hours to get there, with no real challenges apart from a couple like when you only have a pistol.

That's not really a challenge as you only have to kill 1 guard and take his mp40 :p
