BT Infinity & FTTx Discussion

Never an issue here, only yesterday I was downloading @ 8.8MB still browsing here and uploading some pics :)

Hmm, perhaps I have a faulty HH3 then cause it's impossible to do anything if I've got a torrent running with hh3.

However, I'm more than happy with my WRN3500, just ran a wireless speed test, router is upstairs in the bedroom and I'm in the conservatory downstairs:

Thanks KIA I'll give that a try if I ever feel like trying HH3 again. Even if it does fix it I still prefer my WRN3500 to be honest.
 
Been with BT a week yesterday now and my speeds are still al over the place. Usually getting 37Mbs D/L but the last few days I'm struggling to get 1-2Mbs. Rebooting the router at the start sorted it but its not helping now.

I checked this morning and was getting full speed but the last hour or two it is non existent.

Could they still be testing the line? I very much doubt anyone around me even knows what Infinity is never mind have it. I live it what you could say is not a nice part of town.

Had a solid 37Mbs with INDet for a year which didn't budge once but the price per package was shocking. (£28 for 30MG peak!)

Any ideas?
 
having problems with mine guys... I was running fine with the 40/10 profile and was getting 36/6.5mb and since changing over to the 80/20 profile after 2 weeks (and my 10 days stabilization) my line is now at 35/6mb.

I keep ringing the numbers but can only seem to get through to india and they are shocking and never seem to get anything done.

I have said put me through to another department but they say they cant.

Really need help as im at my wits end with them.

What is worse is i can hardly understand them.

Same as me...I had 37/8 until I upgraded now its 32/8. Logged a fault with them since 14/04/12 they are now saying the problem is sorted....I know how you feel trying to speak to someone, they pass you from pillar to post. I have rang them at least 8 times and on some occasions for upto 40 mins!

Rang again today and an engineer visit is booked for Tuesday. Go to BT infinity forums, lots of people are having the same issue.

Hope mine gets sorted on Tuesday.

BB I also have the same problem, not happy about signing up for another 18 months, for a worse connection speed since speed upgrade.:mad:

Rang them 4 times today and finally got someone who wanted to help, got another engineer booked in for tomorrow between 1-6pm so hopefully it will get sorted.

Tbh i have had such a nitemare since the upgrade its making me wish i never did. :mad:

I think your better off if you order the 80/20 service ,as the upgrade seems problems ?
 
ADSL: Past month... at least 10 disconnections a day. reported... it disconnected whilst they were doing a line check (fab). Line fault.. engineers going to call within two days.

The point of this ADSL post in an Infinity thread? What a nice opportunity to ask them if they could hurry up my Infinity order lol. (if I could actually order the damn thing yet grr...silly dates).
