Pretty sure they can't hike my deal by £2.50, presuming it will be a percentage based on package price. 20% would surely give you ability to early terminate without penalty.
Under Ofcom rules, any customer who is unhappy with the price changes on their contract has 30 days to opt out, once they have been informed of the changes by BT.
Price increases coming our way, folks.
Time to jump ship. So much cashback!
Ditto, only moved to BT in September. Already got £160 cash back and the £120 odd gift card paid out.
Time to get more free money and switch.![]()
I'm guessing that they don't refund you the line saver rental if you cancel the contract?
It seems more FTTPoD options have gone live today.

Thinking of moving to a new house. Does anyone have a link to check a postcode for BT fiber
Thinking of moving to a new house. Does anyone have a link to check a postcode for BT fiber and are the results accurate.
Virgin is not available, although Cablemystreet does say it's scheduled but no date or guarantee given.
https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ for accurate expected speed results.
That's showing
WBC ADSL2+ Up to 6
ADSL Max Up to 5
WBC Fixed Rate 2
Fixed Rate 2
The house is 3km from the exchange using AA route planner. So fiber is available but the speeds too low.
Am I reading that correct?
Did you use your landline or the address checker bit? On that page click 'address checker' below the search box, then do it via house number and postcode.
I was using the postcode checker, must not work, the address checker gives 80mbps.![]()
