hey guys just on a side note, does anyone know if i can put a extra hdd in my rig that was a c drive on another computer previously with out it being formatted?

Yes you can. You can then either just use it as is, or reformat from within Windows.

Ok it turned on, Told me to reboot or select proper boot device, Pressed the power button, now it wont turn on

Yer iv took a c drive with oem vista and plonked it straight in to another pc and it work well, after everyone saying otherwise.

that sounds good, you need to install windows on the drive.

It’s normal. It needs something to boot from. With a bare machine this is usually the OS install media (DVD or USB Stick).

Hit Del as it boots to get into the BIOS so you can have a look-see.
