Building my first pc

Patience is key when putting pc's together, you should watch as many tutorials as possible, and Know all the parts before you assemble. It doesn't sound like you have done your homework to me.

Ok changed the leads, It works, will I take my comp all apart and give it another clean then leave for 24 hours?

Told you not to worry. You can pick up a new lead for a couple of quid. :)

Yeah, make sure it's cleaned and dried properly this time before attempting anything. Patience is key here.

I'll also try n get a pic

Please do, we need to have a look.

Just stumbled across this thread.

Lol Stevo, sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm sure most of it will be salvageable.

The patience from you guys on here has been pretty legendary also, almost heartwarming how the forum is trying to help Stevo out :)

I don't really have anything to add, just be patient and make sure everything is as clean as possible and properly dry before powering it up again.

I also just wanna say thanks, Even if I dont get it working, You guys have been a great help :)

Right. So when you knocked the can over it went through the grills on the top? How much went into the system?

I think the PSU will be fine as it's protected and I don't think any would go there. So that should be safe.

Take it apart fully and lay the parts on something and blow dry them with cold air like suggested earlier.

Hopefully you'll get it working!
