My son has decided he wants a gaming tower , ive come home and hes bought all the components required already . Ive been left to build it as he has no idea and im not fully clued up. I just need some pointers to if i have connected things up correctly, correct pins etc or if i have incorrectly installed the directions of fans etc, or if anything is missing ...any help would be appreciated

He has bought a corsair 4000d tower
Rm850x psu
Geoforce rtx 4060 windforce graphics card
Rog strix b550-f motherboard
2 x crucial ddr4 pro 2x16gb
3 x 120mm corsair af120 led fans
1 x Crucial P3 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen3 NVMe Internal SSD - Up to 3500MB/s - CT1000P3SSD801 (Acronis Edition)
Arctic liquid freezer ii240
Amd ryzen5 5600x proccessor

Any help appreciated . I dont wanna turn it on and cause a issue for him.

I will upload pics

I have , ive laid down the basics i think its finished but i just wanted to clarify with people who have knowledge really. Was struglling to get exactly what i needed online . Just after some assurances before i say its finished

Is there something in particular you are concerned you've done incorrectly?

The direction of fans is pretty straight forward, you want some to bring cool air in and some to vent hot air out.

Not really im just a little anxious with a couple of things , his liquid cooler i have plugged into " cpu_fan cpu_opt"

Its plugged on the left side which im guessing is "cpu_fan , as the plug next to it is also fan terminal which i have one of his front mounted fans plugged into .

I have his last 2 front mounted fans plugged into " cha_fan2 & cha_fan3

I have his rear case exhaust fan plugged into "cha_fan1"

Ram is as follows
Dimmb1
Dimmb2 = ram installed
Dimma1
Dimma2= ram installed

Thats pretty much everything im aware of that he has

Have you tried to power on the system to see if it boots?

What stage have you got up too that you are not too sure about?

With regards to his liquid cooler , ive looked online and it recommends mounting at the top and the direction the fans are at currently they would pull hot air out , is that correct
I have my AIO mounted to the top with fans extracting the heat from the system, I have the same case as well

No not powered on yet , just finishing off the cooler , not even sure if he has a operating system , or if its included with the motherboard he purchased

The OS is normally bought on its own and not included with the motherboard.

You can still get the OS installed etc but will need to buy a license key for it at some point

Edit, Just make sure when screwing down the AIO cooler on top of the CPU you go from corner to corner and tighten little at a time to get an even amount of pressure
