[Buildlog] GAME HARD, FOLD HARDER

I'm half way through this log and it is honestly the best log i've seen so far on here.

Firstly that case is lucky you bought it because you have literally transformed it from a wreck into a monster, kudos to your patience, you must have loads to persevere through something like that.

The other thing is that this log has proved you don't need GTX Titan's etc to make a solid build, but you do need a purpose, which, in this case, is folding and then gaming!

Looking forward to reading the rest.

Thank you very much for those kind words. Having big hardware is nice. But with the correct attitude and idea you can create a wonderfull modded build with a socket 775 system that is wonderfull to watch. I hope you will enjoy the rest of the log as well.

looking awsome, cant wait to see it finished :D

Thank you H68 :)

I have started to sleeve my cables so I can do some testfitting and see if I need to change up some colours.

Since it was so sunny today and light untill very late I shot a quick few photos of the 24 pin. Man I should invest into a better camera. My neighbour gets sick from me asking him for help all the time xD
But there would have been a much better photo of the gorgeous sleeving that way.
Something inside of me told me I needed white in there. I HAD to use 2 strings of white.

The combo I (for now) have chosen is Black, orange, black, shade 19, white, black and that mirrored.

you can just about make out that Shade 19, especially on the right hand mirrored side, just a very dark grey, especially next to the Black.

loving this build, seems to of taken forever!

Yeah in real life it give just a little touch of something else.

Indeed it is taking a lot of time haha. That is because I am partly dependant on other companies to create something I designed. Can't rush them. Plus money doesn't grow on my back haha Just bought a 2nd GTX670. Now saving up for the waterblock. Hopefully by then one or two new pieces have arrived as well and I have finished about all the sleeving.

Thanks for the compliment!

What sort of rivet gun did you buy?

I haven't bought one yet. I bought black rivets from MSPC-X but didn't need them yet.

This thread is epic. The ram has left me with no other choice than to be envious :) slick! keep up the work :D

Thank you very much for your kind words. I hope you will enjoy all the updates.

Thank you for following this build log :)
It doesn't matter what you choose to add or not as long as you are happy with it.

How I have sleeved these?

Go to youtube and search for videos of Lutro0. Watch them all and watch the master at work (not me). Discard all other bolony sleeving videos of people that use ghetto methods to sleeve or unpin. Then go to either mdpc-x or Lutro0 his own website and order what you need or want..... or drop me a PM/email and I can do it for you (but not for free of course).

Check my Facebook for multiple examples:

No problem :)

As I have shown I am now busy doing some sleeving. Deciding the colours and patterns and the actual sleeving itself. It is not easy measuring stuff because the build is not at my home atm due to some renovation going on here making a mess and causing lots of dust. So I have go move to where it is and back every time. Not really ideal. Today I went there to see if the 24 and double 8 pin were done right and if I needed to adjust the length of the 4 6-pins before sleeving them. While I was there I thougt I would take a few pictures of everything together. Just to let you know what is going on. Enjoy.
