[Buildlog] GAME HARD, FOLD HARDER

Great to see your progressing again. I was missing the photos of your lav :)

Yeah I finally can do some work again. I really want to put these things in the build next week.

This build is just amazing! You really pulled all of the stops out on this. Every little detail is given thought! Keep this going OP.

Thank you very much, that is a huge compliment :)

I was bored and wanted to work on them so bad so I pre-made them so I can put them in the build right away. Hope you like the too many pictures of just ram and heatsinks xD

What in the world XSPC. You sell these per TWO. You put everything in per TWO. But the plexi pieces for low profile ram...YOU PUT IN ONLY ONE!!! What is that about? So I cut them up into 4 pieces to get them to work for all 4 heatsinks.

They look really good! Have you contacted XSPC/OCUK about the missing plexi? I'm really surprised if that was meant to be like that! However it does makes the Samsung RAM look how it should for the performance!

You could always get the dremel/jigsaw out and cut them down! They would look pretty slick that low! I think you'd just about keep the XSPC logo too! ;)

Looking great!! :)

Any other reason for the RAMsinks because at 1.65v they really are not required, probably won't even need 1.65v for 2400Mhz.
Or just because they look cool? They do look damn cool.

I still can;t get over how small those ram modules are - and yet they're one of the best EVER sets. Oh well.

Nice looking ramsinks. VERY nice. You likely to be adding any orange to them?

I have actually thought about it. But I can never get it that straight and who knows I want to re-use them in the future for regular sized ram. So I kept them stock hight.

I actually didn't buy it from OCUK. I might contact XSPC about it though. Just to ask if this is normal or not.

Nah it is more a "look" thing. There will be an XSPC waterblock on them. Full watercooler components.

No there will be plenty or orange everywhere. Also the coolant will be orange and there are orange accents all over the build. I am keeping this black as it is. And probably have white leds in it.

Understandable. I keep eyeing up new RAM and keep looking at Corsair Dominator but I could get twice as much Samsung for the same money! I could even get it to look good with these blocks!

Also get in contact with XSPC! From their own website, what you should get in a kit! I see two plexi blocks there! (although making them yourself in orange plexi would also be sweet!)

Tunnel vision lol :p

:D ;)

Can't wait to see the end product.

Thank you very much, I can't wait either :)

Those Ram heatsinks look so lush.

Keep up the good work sir.

Thank you for your kind words sir.

This is looking extremely tidy and I am sure will be stunning when completed and something to be proud of. Keep going I'm impressed.

Thanks a lot. That is a huge compliment.

wow very nice i will be cooling my memory soon on my next build

Well I personally think having heatsinks always looks better than no heatsink. Even if it's not needed ;)

Another baby step. I fitted these babies to my motherboard. I changed the silver screws to black ones I accidentally happened to have left from my top grill. And they fit in perfectly

Just a few pics, hopefully soon with the next update being assembling the gfx card + waterblock + awesome backplate :D

Maybe I have been living under a rock, I have not heard of water cooled RAM before! Admitidely I am not a water cooler, Next build I will do that, nom nom nom
