Burger King veteran of 27 years gets goodie bag for never missing a day of work

This chap is a right lightweight, my Grandad was at the same company for over 40 years.

How many here can say they never had a single day off work in 27 years though.

They didn't just provide him with a goodie bag they provided him with a wage and really good health insurance by the sounds of it.

there's millions of others who don't take sick days off work as well, some people even work 2 jobs

I'm conflicted about this.

One the one hand he's just doing his job. By the sounds of it he's done well. So why should he get a reward for doing his job?

On the other hand, Burger King decided to issue a reward and looks like they cheaped out. Either give a good reward or nothing at all, in my opinion.

I have to wonder how helpful it is of his daughter to be attacking Burger King when her Dad still works there. She could get him the sacked for humiliating the company.

They didn't, AFAIK it was his coworkers or managers not the company.
