I've burnt a data cd using vista and I can't see it using win98. Is this because it uses a different file format? Is it possible to burn a CD using vista that can be seen using windows 98?
=walls= said:windows default format is UDF, I believe - which Win 98 cannot read by default. You'll need to install the Roxio UDF reader (I think!!)
UKDTweak said:You have used vista's built in packet writing software, win98 cannot read this, you will need the reader installed on the win98 machine, and yes, it is free.

I've got drivers for the mp3 player on my win98 machine so no problems there.
