Doesn't make it worse either, the servers have gone down on both formats so don't start with that.
What is it with you and trying to start arguments on these forums? I'm sure your a nice chap really, but your attitude here stinks, I don't understand why you do it?
I would say losing your rank is a bit worse than the servers going down once in a while, but perhaps you accept that as being the dangers of being on a free service.
Where did I start an argument? I believe Live is the better online service, that is my opinion, why is that so hard for you to accept without needing to challenge it, where was the actual argument? looked like debate to me, but yeah its always a argument with you it seems
Plenty of others believe Live to be better, will you take them to task on their attitude?

I'm not talking about your 'Live!' debate, I'm talking about you in general, you seem to go out of your way to start arguments here. I'm personally not really bothered what you get up to, I just wondered what you get out of it? I'm not having a pop at you mate, I'm just intrigued as to what makes you enter almost every PS3 thread and try to start trouble, maybe I've got you completely wrong, but that is how you come across to me.

You are in as much 360 threads as I am in PS3 threads, those in glasshouses, as for the rank there was a big thread on here about the ranks being lost, and that is why they are having a double XP weekend as a make up gift, but hey never happened to you so it's ok, much like my 360 has never broke so its all perfect right

Live is a better service, at present, but it is 5 years old to PSNs 1 year so i would hope that for being around 5x longer it would be a better service. Anyway i wasn't talking about live in general but how online is implemented in this game which isnt in the normal way that is why I said you should read how the online works and tell me why its better ?
Because people will talk, unified friend list, probably more people using live than PSN, and plus I have it, so IMO Live will be better. Plus the online sounds just like a little bit more advanced than TDU to me, so its not all that special sounding to me about how they have done it, but then again we will have to wait and see when we play it.
My original comment about the controller gimmicks were tongue in cheek throwback to all the PS3 fans who said the Wii was just that with its control method, yet now seem happy to brand the SixAxis as great, but as usual with this forum the red mist comes down and people jump in with both feet, seriously think some on here have anger management issues LOL.

Mate seriously stop getting defensive I am not having a go at you, I do disagree with a lot of people, NokkonWud for example, we disagree on a lot of stuff but still have a good laugh on MSN etc.

Like I said I could be completely wrong about you, but you come across to me as someone who likes to stir things up with the other PS3 owners.
Going back to the CoD4 thing, didn't those people loose there rank only temporarily whilst the servers were down? As said I wasn't effected by it so it's not really an issue for me, and my 360 is still alive and well, bought Dec 05 and since sold to my friend who plays it daily.
I know you like to have the last word, so whatever you may reply I will leave it at that.

Mr Men is your typical Live user that you just want to mute, lol
It's been locked at 60fps for quite a while now, so there should be no problems there.
And I do think that Live could potentially be the better experience, if only because more people will have it on that platform. We'll have to wait and see.

It will probably be 950*1080 scaled horizontally like GT5 is... Sony seem to be pushing this resolution as a standard because it benefits those with true 1080P displays, whilst only needing a little more horsepower to render than 720P.
I don't think many games this generation will be rendered at 1900*1080 which is a shame, but this method is better than just upscaling low resolution 640P-720P games all the way to 1080P at least.
