Burnout Paradise developers talk 360 v PS3

Ive played the demo quite abit on line with ps3 and not sen it drop to really low fps, so id be real dissapointed if the final game did that.

I imagine any image quality differences will be due to lack of angle independant af on the nv chip of the ps3. Its unfortunate that it took till the 8800 series for nv to get image quality to match ati. Still i didnt think the ps3 version looked in any way bad. fast, smooth and some , surly a milestone on the ps3 comming from ea ;)

yeah that is right what you said was genious and very valid
I seriously don't even know what point you are trying to make. Since I've not played the full game or even the demo for any real amount of time, all I can really comment on is impressions I've heard from other sources. At no point did I claim what I said was genious so I'm not sure why you're coming at it from that angle.

The rolleyes is for sarcasm btw

e.g. I have heard from "people in the industry" that the ps3 version contantly drops to 15fps online
Thanks for the English 101.

Probably best to sort yourself out before trying to lecture anyone. ;)

I will make this very simple for you, quit with the I heard this or that bull from "people in the industry"! Threads become derailed when people say statements from supposed sources without providing any links/proof ect.

Think about it anyone could make up what the hell they want and claim they got the info from "people in the industry"

If you have an opinion state it, don't act as if you have some inside dev info when you quite clearly don't.

I agree, take the graphics card forum for example the arguments always end in people claiming inside info, then attempt the whole "you calling me a liar" **** when questioned!

First of all don't speak to me like a 5 year old, because you wouldn't do it to my face so don't do it on here.

Now, when did I say anything about insider info from devs? People within the games industry ie the press side. I had assumed this was obvious I was referring to the press side, hadn't counted on some idiot trying twist my words and make out I was claiming to have some great insider knowledge.

If you'll care to notice, my original statement was a straight comment without the need for either the " " that you have used everytime since, or a ;). Maybe if I had used either " " or ;) then I could possibly see why it might have come accross that I was trying to make out I had some insider info, but since I didn't then I'm afraid your misinterpretation of my post is entirely down to your own stupidity.

Just incase there are other morons lurking around - Everything I've heard/read on this game is freely available in the public domain.

Now do excuse me while I go put you on my ignore list, because it really does **** me off having to explain myself to chumps like you.

Guys, Wedgie is one of the decent posters here in the console section, I don't quite see what he's done wrong?

Give him a break and lets get back on topic :)

Wedgie lets get this straight now if I said I "heard" something you would naturally assume I heard it, not read it on some website

Sometime people say they heard stuff when they meant read though as they forgot their source.

Sorry, what are we debating here? This doesn't sound like Burnout to me :(

You know what a podcast is, right? Of course you do. ;)

I even say heard/read in my 2nd post in a clearly pointless attempt to clarify ffs.

K lets end this right here, link me to your podcast where the people from the industry say that burnout runs better on PS3 than 360

They looked the same to me, quite frankly who cares.

Unless the difference is big (which it's not) you're just looking to get a 1UP over each other.

Ive heard it on many Podcasts, 1up, EGM, Gamespots, VGO, etc etc that the PS3 version is slightly smoother and slightly sharper graphically, but its such a small difference there is no point arguing about it. Think it will be great on either console with no real drawbacks, this aint no madden 08 for the PS3 here, its a game made by a great developer who have done a good job making the game pretty much identical on 2 quite different (in terms of architecture) machines releasing at the same time. :)

Give me a second, have it filed under 'podcast's where people talk about how great PS3 Burnout is'.

How about you grow a brain and do your own reading up on games?
