Burns Night - Haggis!

The aforementioned Haggis Scotch Eggs, I know putting salad on it might confuse the Scots but they came out quite good.

Looks tremendous.

Just a Macsweens for us this year, I thought we had a large one from a butcher in the freezer and when I realised yesterday that we didn’t, I had to pick one up from the local supermarket.

At least it wasn’t Halls or one of those awful Simon Howie things.

Ahhh carp is missed this somehow.

That being said my gout has flared up for the first time in maybe 10 years, and that's probably not the best thing to be eating right now.

Shame though I love a good haggis.

The macsween brand is perfectly fine.

It’s 2025. Anyone still eating haggis is deluding themselves on purpose to prove some sort of point imho
Not sure what the date has to do with it.

We have haggis regularly through the year. It’s not just a one off thing.

It's 2025. There are some delicious haggis in the shops. Try a slice of fried haggis with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Basically Eggs Benedict with the haggis instead of the bread and ham.

I've only had the mcsweens stuff, but I'd rather eat my own intestines than try that again. Now I draw the line at black or white pudding.

Any recommendations for something I could find in a supermarket that's not 100000 miles away from black pudding?
