Your butchers all sound OK, but I think I have the best in the world

- Is a small farm so they rear, slaughter and butcher their own cattle and lambs. Pigs and chickens from neighbouring farms.
- Shoot their own rabits/game in season.
- Mutton, suckling pigs, proper ham/gammon/bacon, local eggs.
- Normally have some mature beef in anyway, or if I want something specific they'll hang a piece for up to 6 weeks for us - mmmmmmm mature steak.
- Ultra friendly family run - will always advise on what's nice that day and have taught us loads on all the cuts and butchering techniques.
- Free bones if you ask.
- Price barely any more than supermarkets and quality of course incomparable.
So for anyone in the Milton keynes/Bedford area I thoroughly recommend Evans and Son near Cranfield. Awesome place!
