Button 'targeted by Ferrari'

Why does it make sense? We've got another year of regulation changes and Ferrari have hardly proven themselves able to produce the best car with the new rules. He'd be just as well, if not better, off at McLaren.

Keep team GB together!

Would make sense, but as a fan of him, it would mean liking Ferrari :(

Why does it make sense? Team orders are allowed, why would button move from mclaren to a guaranteed 2nd driver.
As said nothing but rumour mill, can't see it happening.

I bloody hope it doesn't happen, I hate Ferrari :p

Reading all that tripe that Mr Montezeleleleloeoloeo rights all the time about how awesome his not so awesome team are... well, it's just cringeworthy!

I meant it makes sense from Ferrari's point of view. I'd prefer him to stay at Mclaren (or go to Red Bull).

Yeah for Ferrari it would be good. But I think they would begetter with kobyashi. He's on his what 2nd season? He looks good and race and wouldn't complain about being 2nd fiddle and give him some good experience for a year or two, to establish his credibility as a top driver. Di resta would be another, but to green for Ferrari.

Button would never willingly join a team as a guaranteed #2. Ferrari have made it pretty clear Alonso is their golden boy! McLaren and Button can do good things I doubt that'll change for a good while.

Button has played no 2 before and as a previous World Champion he'll want either equal billing or being No. 1. Wasn't he teamed with Fernando at Renault for a while?

While McLaren is the fastest car in race trim, why would he move? he seems genuinely at home there and i predict he'll sign another contract with them soon.

Can't see him going to Ferrari.

Think he would rather be slightly less than equal number 1 rather than dedicated number 2.

Although everyone dreams of driving for Ferrari. They are the first team you think of in f1

Purely a story leaked to the press from Button management team. The same as Lewis to Red Bull. Right at the time both drivers are renegotiating contracts.

Jenson will be happy to stay at mclaren he's just trying to close the gap on what they are offering to what Lewis gets.

Jenson at Ferrari is something I would like but it's not good for his career, I do get the feeling Jenson is in semi retired mode. He keeps talking about it not mattering if he wins another title and he's achieved all he wanted.

I think he turns up wanting to win but a bit of the hunger that drives others on for more and more titles isn't in his nature.

I hope so, that would be a dream come true. JB at Ferrari collecting his pension while Alonso bums him into oblivion and LH attacking Vettel, the fireworks would be worth it.

Personally I think Lewis would be making the right call leaving for Red Bull. Newey has a strong history of getting regs changes right.
