Buyer's remorse?

Never tried to light a coal fire? It's not exactly a quick process but one of these does it in less than ten minutes.
Have you tried the top down method. Coal on the bottom, 8 pieces of kindling with a firelighter in the middle, job done. I find the oak I got harder to get going.

I rarely impulse buy expensive stuff so off top of head no. I usually am the opposite and have "not buying regret". could have gotten a 2 month old 512gb steam deck with 256gb SDcard for £460

didn't buy it and regretted it. ended up buying a different one with only 128gb for same price. no regrets :)

edit I tell a lie. big steaming pile of regret "buying" a crypto.com debit card for £3000. worth around £350 now

Anyone who bought a 3D TV should be posting in this thread
To be fair my Panasonic 3D is still going strong. The alternative was a Samsung LCD for the same price - and all of those would definitely be dead by now based on my other 2 Samsung TVs.

3D was of course totally pointless, lol.

Yeah never regretted a holiday

Only one.
During the day it was fine but during the evening me and the wife felt isolated because we could only hear Spanish, French, German & Scandinavian voices, even the Karaoke was all foreign.
Yes I know you don't go abroad for English people but if you were there you'd understand.
I was even approaching blokes at the bar wearing English football shirts and every one turned out to be foreign, I was OK but my wife loves to talk to other people.
Eight days later somebody walked into the bar with a Stoke City shirt on and only people from Stoke would wear that so the wife had a couple of females to talk to and funnily enough they both live about half a mile away :)

As for the machine, our current tarrif has it costing 9p for the claimed 10 minutes use.
4p confirmed by the use of a power meter. That’s five minutes with the heater on and five minutes with it off, acting as bellows.

Going by the speed it lit the grate full of anthracite, no remorse.
