Or u could just give it to me so it can have a nice home where it gets cleaned when ever it get a spot of dirt :p

Very nice car indeed Rotty.
Looks like we have the same taste in cars

Sorry to quickly divert the thread a little but that reminded me.......

A friend of mine runs a plant hire shop (we were about 20-21 at the time) along with his father. A couple of years ago, one of his regulars turns up in an M3 SMGII convertible. Business as usual.....but my friend pointed out to the guy that his car was filthy. They guy replied that he rarely uses it, as his XKR and Range Rover are his preferred choices, and that he has never washed it since ownership. Well, my friend was obviously horrified about this and jokingly offered to clean it for him over the weekend. The man laughed it off and was on his way.

At the end of the week on friday night my friend gets a call in the shop. He answers it, and its his M3 customer. "When are you coming to pick the car up" he says. "what car and what for" my friend says confused. "the beemer....you said you would clean it for me over the weekend....dont worry about insurance as I have insured you, just make sure it comes back sparkling". In about 5 seconds my friend phoned me and I was round like a shot! We went straight down to this guys house/mansion/stately home to collect it. Needless to say that was one of the best weekends I can remember....being 20 years old and cruising about in an M3 convertible in the middle of July :D :D

But it did take us from about 9am-2pm trying to clean the damn thing, and we still couldnt get the wheels clean, and the brake dust had somehow chemically welded to the alloy.

Unbelievable Panthro :D

I could mention a few more companies but for a car like that you probably need specialist companies to quote for you. Ive just realised Ive become Mr average and the prime target of most highstreet companies, which is nice but I'd rather have the problem of a M3 somehow

this is why it was irresistible , I paid £26k ( plus waranty costs and the fact the it is due a service ) which I believe is low considering the spec and mileage

at least I hope it was cos the p/ex I got on mine really hurts :(

Not that I can afford it right now :p But that sounds like a very good price for the car, nice one :D

Well I'm back with it , have only driven it 30 miles down the motorway so far but it is very comfortable , smooth and handles well ( to what extent I have tested it )

The main thing that hits me though is the sheer complexity of the thing , there are switches everywhere , the height of technology in the Scooby was the bright switch :P

The SMG is going to take some getting used to

oh and I booted as I pulled on to the motorway slip road and found myself with a fight on my hands :D
