Which cars are you comparing, doofer?

The difference between, for example, road cars and the open wheel cars is huge because of the difference in wheel rotation/lock. Road cards turn for 900 degrees, where as the open wheeled cars only turn for 420 I think it is.

That's before we even get into the huge differences in suspension etc.

I appreciate that and don't think that is the problem, it's the sensitivity/speed at which certain cars turn.

As an example the Zakspeed Capri is a pretty good Gamepad car for me with the settings I use, it just 'feels' right, this setting will work on the BMW 320 Turbo but 'feel' completely different but still entirely controllable same for the old Historic Merc which is a pig to drive but still somewhat manageable. I really don't expect them to 'feel' the same at all as they are completely different beasts, I just want some chance of controlling them.

If I switch cars to the Road Audi R10 or RuF then the very slightest movement of the joystick and the car will almost instantly full lock, it's like using a mouse at 200DPi suddenly turning into a 4000DPi mouse without warning if that makes sense.

but totally different audience to GTA.

different audience yes, but everyones going to be playing GTA V, sales would be really bad..you know how it goes, we see tactical release dates all the time. It's only a couple weeks delay, cant be a ground breaking problem and nowhere near finished with just a couple week delay.

I know they want to announce things on their own forum, but has anything been announced yet about how junior members will be able to upgrade to the full game? I can't find anything on their forum, but I find it's layout very confusing to actually find information/announcements.

I have been wondering that myself, just been looking on their forums and all that I can find is that it hasn't been decided yet and they are busy finishing off the game, which is odd as I guess the devs don't do the marketing/finance.

I still don't know anything either.

How do the pre-order DLC offers apply to those who already have the beta, does it count as a pre-order.

Is this anything like Forza? Main question, Assetto isn't.

No. This is similar to corsa, no buying/unlocking cars, no upgrades/customisation... Forza's closest equivalent on PC is NFS:Shift2, although its physics are even poorer than Forza's/GT6.

Having said that, these are no less fun to play than GT/FOrza, just for different reasons.

they always said you would get a voucher for your packages worth or obviously a copy of the game depending on your packages value/
I'd assume that's still the case
