85 seems to be the average score based on Metacritic so far.

I have to admit, that although I think it's good game, I wasn't expecting to review quite so highly. I'm pleasantly surprised that a PC sim based driving game has reviewed well on consoles too.
 
Metacritic will be full of biased investor reviews so I'm relying on OCUK feedback (physics, ffb, tyre wear, degradation, collisions, career, AI, graphics, performance, sound destruction etc).

I did watch some PS4 streams and the sound wasn't dynamic, also those who are nit picky will notice that some tracks don't have bumps where they should be therefore not being lazer scanned is beginning to show.
 
yeah but 50 percent difference ? that's not game works.

970gtx is 50 percent faster than a 290x.damn if you got a amd card :(
 
Get assetto... I was really looking forward to pcars and have followed it religiously. Amd performance has always been way off and it still is at release. That's ridiculous. Amd users beware...
 
Surely AMD performance is driver related when you consider both XBone and PS4 are AMD based systems?

And that is a question, not defending shoddy coding if that's what it is.
 
i was thinking that amd maybe will release better driver but when you look at cpu performance aswell :p doubt it will help much.

if you on a amd cpu and gpu you pretty much screwed.
 
Unless Amd perform a miracle with drivers then it's just not worth the purchase. It's a shame as I would have bought this and assetto. Oh well, time is scarce anyway!
