Slack on me! I honestly did not know this was the same game.
I will hide in a corner and await the barrage of comments to follow!

Tis valid. CARS was its code name as the current "Project" from WMD back in the day, but it all sort of stuck and now has officially been named Project CARS.

Its pretty good, but a decent PC and a wheel are pretty much mandatory to get the best from it.

A passing mod will merge this into that thread I expect.

You haven't been banned as such.

You've just received a refund for your tool pack, just in your case you didn't request one. So there's no reason why you can't buy it legitimately now.

From what I can tell on the Steam page it has the Digital Edition which includes pre-order bonus and the Limited Edition upgrade DLC pack.

Now CD Key sites (unconfirmed yet) are selling keys from Physical copies of the game which will mean that they "may" be selling the standard version that only includes pre order bonus.

I'm going to wait and see if those who got it from CD Keys got the digital edition otherwise the cheapest digital edition I can see on Steam Trades is $38.

Why are you asking stuff like this in a public forum, rather than logging into your account at the WMD forums?

There is clear info there regarding discounts/entitlements according to your "tier membership" and what you have to do.
