lol sold my account to someone on here ages ago before the steam keys hit. will be interesting to see how much of a profit they make
 
I was on the fence about picking up the Bronze pack for ProjectCARS 2 just to get early access, but they want you to use your real name which I find is pretty intrusive and a big privacy concern for me, they will already have any real details they could possibly need from your payment details anyway so it's completely unnecessary. I've also seen a few comments that the 'New' Forums are already going like the old Forums where the 'Yes' men quickly stamp out any concerns or negativity (Is it true they've already banned a few people? :eek:) which has now also put me off, although TBH I didn't expect that to change one bit.

I also find it a bit bizarre they're closing down the 'Old' Forums... Seems a bit fishy to me that one. ;)

The only reason why they are asking for your real name this time around is that people didn't both reading the forum notice requesting your real name to be input into your forum profile for the AI characters. A lot of people missed out because they were too lazy to fix the forums. I think therefore they are using the forum name as your real name so they can just generate the AI list using the forum's members list.

I would just like to say thanks to everyone who bought pCARS. My first royalty payment of 110% of my original investment arrives next month with further payments each quarter for 2 years! Happy days!

I don't know why, but I just thought people were enjoying this title. Maybe I got that impression from one of the other sim threads.

Anyway, bought it in steam 'sale' but had I read the lat few pages beforehand I likely would not have done so.

Already downloaded now, so don't think will be able to get refund even if I th k it stinks .

Oh well, lesson learned - actually read up n game beforehand!
 
Have to agree. It has bugs but the underlying game is great fun. Car handling is sim esque but accessible

Think I mentioned it before but the ring with an atom v8 / s-charged is a lot of fun and gives you a laugh trying battle with out of corners :D

Other thing to mention is you ideally need a wheel. It plays with a pad correctly but when I plugged my Logitech in it transformed it

As long as you've played less than two hours you can get a refund through Steam.

I know is hard for you guys to say on my behalf, but do you think is worth going that route?

Already got assetto Corsa and dirt rally. Find the presentation for ac a bit cumbersome, but enjoy the mechanics, and have enjoyed dirt rally. For someone who doesn't have huge amounts of gaming time, and given state of this one, should I just go refund?
