Oh come on, we here that same lame stereotypical talk day in day out. Fact of the matter is it happens in football in general.

I hear ya Boom!

Yeah true but the fact is the itailians are masters at it.Always have been always will be.
The world cup will only prove that.

:D

Great result for Arsenal last night, shame we couldn't win it but being through is all that matters. Juve were awful though, it would have been a disgrace if we had let them score two+ goals on that performance...

Just read about Paul Vaessen, very sad story :(

Excellent result for Arsenal, couldnt ask anymore of them. Almost scored a few as well, Hleb, Henry and Fabregas nearly all had goals.

Second half was quite entertaining with Nedved aka Lassie going off lol :p, as for Lehmann...hes damn lucky he didnt get sent off...cant see why the hell he ran out and started shouting at Nedved. The guy was being sent off for sure with a silly reckless tackle like that.

Anyways great game through and through, bring on Villareal :D

The Barca game was also just as exciting, cant believe Ronaldinho had his penalty saved  but he made up for it with that nice little slot in.

Definitely would love to see an Arsenal vs Barca final, that would be something else i think :)

Whilst Mads Jens was stupid for what he did (Was still really funny, I love the guy!) You can hardly get sent off for shouting :p ;)

I thought it was one of the coloured lads, could be wrong though, beer does that. It was blatant too, they weren't even challenging for the ball.

according to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4881402.stm it was flamini on nedved. that must be some strong beer you were drinking there! :p

Matthieu Flamini - 7: Picked up an early booking and fortunate to be still on the pitch after flooring Nedved with an elbow. Arsenal will be glad he stayed as he put in another mature performance at left-back.

Nedved Elbowed Eboue. So Eboue had a go back with his elbow, made no contact but if he had it was a red. Flamini's was an elbow but he won the ball and was a difficult one to judge, I think it was accidental

Eboue, that's the one, I knew the beer wasn't that strong;)
I didn't realise he didn't make any contact, even still he should have went for it:)

LOL i know i love him too even though hes a prat at times lol :p. I just thought the way he rumbled up to Nedved that he would have got a yellow card or perhaps a red card as that ref isnt very favourable to Arsenal. He just wasnt shouting but also jostling him a bit, was very fortunate to get away with that. But he did a sterling job in the nets to deny Juve a few good chances.

Congrats to Arsenal! Loving watching them at the moment. Playing some great stuff. Pity they couldn't get a goal with one of their counter attacks. Everytime they had a chance the player had a bad touch...

Still, Italian teams' poor form against English teams continues :)

Fingers crossed for the Villereal games! :)

Eboue does seem to have a silly little petty side to him that he needs to get rid of. If he does, he is going to be an absolutely fantastic player for Arsenal. From what I've seen of him he is everything Lauren offers and a bit more, and I thought Lauren was an awesome fullback

Hope he continues his fine run of form.

Anyone got links to the two Barca goals? The pub where we watched the Arsenal match turned the TV off to play a stupid pub quiz right when the goals were about to be shown (after we'd sat waiting for 20 minutes watching Niall Quinn on mute)

Arsenal given semi-final warning

Villarreal defender Rodolfo Arruabarrena believes Arsenal's inexperience may count against them in the Champions League semi-finals.
Arruabarrena scored against Inter Milan on Tuesday to set up a last-four date with the Gunners later this month.
"They have a lot of young players. That might mean the pressure could affect them," he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"However, together with Barcelona, Arsenal have played the best football in this season's Champions League."
The 30-year-old Argentine added: "They are a team that love playing with the ball at their feet and the whole team, not just Thierry Henry, play quick and precise football."
Villarreal beat Inter 1-0 on Tuesday to level the tie 2-2 and go through to the semi-finals on away goals.
This is the Spanish side's first season in the Champions League and they are now aiming to become the first debutants since Sampdoria in 1992 to reach the final of the European Cup.
Club president Fernando Roig was full of praise for Arsenal and said he was delighted they were his side's next opponents.
"We have now got Arsenal and that is tremendous because they are a great team with great players," he told Spanish newspaper AS.
"They have got Thierry Henry and he is one of the best players in the world. They've also got some very good Spaniards in their team, like Cesc Fabregas.
"What's more, we are going to visit a great city in London, which my wife and I prefer to Turin."
The Spanish media has reported that Villarreal fans are already making plans for a trip to Paris to see the final on 17 May.
The match coincides with the town's annual fiesta in honour of its patron saint, San Pascual.
Father Guillermo, the priest of the Santa Sofia church, said he would ask for a celebratory mass at Notre Dame followed by a procession to the Stade de France - if the club reached the final.
The 78-year-old, who attends matches wearing the club's bright yellow shirt and his dog collar, has the Champions League theme music as the ring tone on his mobile phone.
