Caliper Paint

Was gonna say the same thing. They are quite big and apply pressure to 330mm discs so they are far from pretend

They will look gash in any colour apart from black (to hide them) or silver (which they are from new). It's no different to painting brake drums a bright colour.

I have yet to decide on a colour. Here are two potential choices shown behind the wheels I have (On a 530i SE and a 540i Sport, although both are rear wheels):

I'm telling you red will look ****y. Unless they are branded, cause you will look like a ned who painted his calipers red.

Stick with black or silver. Or have them sandblasted.

normal high temp engine paint will do 2-3 coats (halfrauds)

avoid those plastic covers at all costs, they're crap

mine :D

Don't paint them red. That's what chavs do to their Saxo's. The above caliper looks good in red because it's clearly an aftermarket part, the standard caliper would look **** in red. Go for silver.

I disagree. My leon may have red brembos upfront, which is all well and good. But from the factory also came with red rear calipers, which are just standard VAG stuff, it would look toilet without the rear calipers red too.

I want to paint mine red. I think you should too.

One evening this week? :p
