Id kill for a MW and MW2 remake but with kill cams in COD4 and tweak OMA in MW2. Never have had as much fun in any of the others. Still play them and MW3 for Infected. BO wasn't bad but on PS3, it was awful.

No idea why people would want remakes of old games. We'd still have all the same issues with lag, rubbish match making and crap netcode because the dev who did all the stuff left IW.

COD 4 and MW2 played like a dream apart from the odd game of lag in which case everyone but the host experienced.

I think the main issue with the last few CoD games besides all the unbalanced ADHD pleasing BS is how crap the maps are.

MW2 or Blops 2 with the modern COD engine and bugs fixed with better graphics for XB1 / PS$ would suit me just fine.

COD never really proper ventured outside of the European Theatre of WWII

They could quite easily go back and do a Pacific Campaign WWII game that would be great fun. The battle of Guadal Canal and Iwo jima were legendary.

Heck, even the North Africa campaign was barely touched upon. Both of the above were the setting for Battlefield 1942 but this is so long ago now that I hardly think anybody would mind if COD went back in time.

Sadly all the publisher focus groups that target hyperactive shouting down the mic 12 year olds would never allow this to happen. Each COD game has got progressively more modern and science fiction esque with each release.

I know that but people liked those games because they didn't have many connection issues. If they remade them they would have connection issues. So people would just moan
