Call of Duty 2015/Black Ops 3?

Or not everybody can afford a current gen console? To expect developers to no longer make games for previous gen is ridiculous considering the install Base. Releasing games for both generations is a smart move as games like cod will always sell well.
 
Anyone planning on buying the latest one? I played the Beta for a game or two. It was fun but flawed. Whenever I used a 'super' it would cause the game to bog down to about 25-30fps.

Whilst talking to a friend about it we were discussing how good CoD4 was when it came out. I got nostalgic and then installed CoD4 and realised it's actually still a very active game. Loving it at the moment. So many of the maps were and still are brilliant. I also forgot how devastating the AK47 was. Such an evil gun.

I can imagine Soulja's rage over the shotguns already. Found this video from Jackfrags that shows just how ridiculous they are in blops 3

 
I tried that shotgun in the beta and it didn't work anything like that. I was getting hit markers from about 2 feet away.
 
The season pass will have yet more re-skinned maps:
Season Pass delivers 4 epic DLC map packs in 2016 with all-new multiplayer content, including re-imagined fan-favourite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series". There's also a new zombies map called 'The Giant'. That's a reimagining of the original "Der Riese" Zombies map, complete with Pack-a-Punch machines that promises to "pick up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off".

I'll give it a miss then. I'm not paying for maps I already paid for.
 
If they give us Grid, Radiation and WMD then I might consider it. Most likely it'll be all the horrible tiny "fan favourite" maps like Hijacked that we get.

I hope so :D I love the small maps! I'd like to see Raid, Hijacked but without the open window spawn traps, standoff and a few of the good blops 1 maps which i can't remember the names of!

The reason I didn't make the jump is because the gap wasn't big enough to care but the price was. When I can pick a console up for £199 I might stop using the 360 but until then there has really been no point. The games haven't grabbed me and the step up in visuals was so small I didn't see the point, as everyone always lies about it being about the gameplay don't they?

I can't believe it's been 2 years, the time has flown and still there's barely anything out there, well hardly a back log of games I just must play. :(

He's still alive? I saw fat old northerner dead in the paper and assumed it was him. That is good news!

Nah my next console will be wii u this xmas I think, something a bit different until gears comes out ;) I keep meaning to try and talk to you about it but I guess you just play on the PS4 now?

Something a bit different and boring :p

The Wii U would be something good for you and your son to play on. I sold mine a while ago as it hardly got touched. The first party games are great but the third party support is poor :(

Yep we are all PS4 bummers now. Pretty much all the old blops 2 players are getting a ps4 for blops 3, we just need the claymore camper back in the team ;)

Totally agree with you. I hate all this jumping rubbish. The best CoD games in the series so far as far as I am concerned are CoD 3 and CoD World at War. I'd love to see those games being remastered for the PS4 (or Xbox One) but I doubt that will ever happen.

I do have Black Ops III on pre-order at the moment but if they have ruined the game play too much I'll probably never buy another CoD game again as they have removed what made the CoD games great in my mind. Shame really. I currently own all the CoD games in the series and have been pretty loyal over the years and enjoyed probably hundreds maybe even thousands of hours of multiplayer games in the series over the years.

Yeah it's for my son for xmas. I will go Xbox one, I don't game that much anymore and will get Gears when that comes out. I can't justify a third console for the amount of game time I now do :)
